Summary:
Frontier-Kemper Constructors, Inc.
, a leader in heavy civil construction and underground construction in North America and Canada, is seeking experienced candidates for Site Safety Manager to work at our Project near Mercury, NV.
The position is responsible for all onsite safety documentation services required to monitor and assist the project team with constructing underground structures such as shafts, tunnels, slopes, and other duties as assigned.
The Site Safety Manager will work with the Corporate Safety and Mining Departments as required.
ROLES AND
Responsibilities:
Safety Audits - Ensuring that construction work complies with both project safety specifications and company safety standard, assist with risk management, monitor environmentally sensitive areas Site Safety Management Control - Prepare and distribute all required safety documentation records including various cost, schedule and production reports Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work, as-built records, change orders, estimates, etc.
Field Safety Reporting - Accurately complete daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements Comply and promote the Company safety policies to ensure a safe workplace while also observing MSHA Federal and State standards Work overtime as needed.
Perform the physical requirements of walking, standing, climbing stairs or ladders, and lifting over 50 lbs.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
ASP or CSP preferred Minimum of 4 years of site safety construction experience is required Familiar with the use of safety policies and programs.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Effective verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate with clients, management and production staff Must be able to work outside and underground in a challenging environment with exposure to heights Apply through indeed, or visit www.
